ABOUT US
The Face Behind Cornerhouse
I’m Jessica, the human face behind Cornerhouse Cavaliers. From the first time I saw Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, I was in love! When I was walking to work one day a tiny puppy came out to visit me. It was so soft and sweet it started a new obsession for me! The Cavalier King Charles Spaniel has been a lare part of my life ever since. My first Cavalier, Fraya, was made a member of our family in spring of 2018. I have a fairly predictable habit of getting 1 new permanent family member per year ever since.
My love of King Charlese Cavaliers keeps growing, they each have such amazing personalities and expressive eyes! My dogs are my best friends, my adventure companions, my favorite past time and, my most frustrating fun tornadoes!

Cornerhouse Cavaliers
At Cornerhouse Cavaliers, we are dedicated to producing exceptional companions through a commitment to quality, health, and temperament. We prioritize the well-being of our dogs with annual health testing to ensure they are free from hereditary issues, maintaining the breed’s integrity and vitality. By Keeping our program low-volume, we focus on raising each litter with individual care and attention, fostering well-socialized puppies with loving temperaments. Our goal is to match families with healthy, happy Cavaliers that embody the breed’s charm and affectionate nature, ensuring a liftime of companionship and joy.

Health Testing
Cornerhouse Cavaliers is committed to the health and well-being of every dog we raise. To achieve this, we conduct comprehensive annual health testing, focusing on conditions that are common within the breed. All breeding dogs undergo cardiac evaluations by board-certified veterinary cardiologists to detect and manage risks of mitral valve disease, a prevalent issue in Cavaliers. Additionally, we perform eye examinations by veterinary ophthalmologists to identify and address inherited eye conditions. Hip and patella assessments ensure joint health and structural soundness, minimizing the risk of painful or mobility-limiting issues later in life. We also conduct genetic testing for breed-specific hereditary diseases, such as episodic falling syndrome and dry eye curly coat syndrome, to ensure these conditions are not passed on to future generations. By adhering to these rigorous health standards, we are dedicated to raising puppies that are not only beautiful and loving but also thrive in health and longevity.
